Die ab 1918 gebauten Dampfloks waren einst die gr\u00f6\u00dften Schnellzuglokomotiven Europas und ihr Kessel war der gr\u00f6\u00dfte bis dahin in Deutschland gebaute Dampferzeuger. Alle 23 Maschinen wurden in Chemnitz gebaut und sie blieben alle, bis auf sehr kurze Gastspiele in Stuttgart und Frankfurt Main, in Dresden Altstadt und Reichenbach beheimatet. Besonders innovativ war ihr 4 Zylinder Triebwerk, dass sich besonders im Mittelgebirge Mitteldeutschlands bew\u00e4hrte. Im Flachland viel jedoch ihr hoher Kohle verbrauch negativ auf, weshalb sie nie ihre angestammten Gebirgsstrecken (Dresden – Hof \/ Leipzig \u2013 Hof) verlie\u00dfen. Nach dem Krieg verblieben auch alle \u00fcberlebende Fahrzeuge der in Baureihe 19 umgezeichneten Maschinen in Ostdeutschland. Aufgrund der raschen Elektrifizierung des Mittelgebirges w\u00fcrden die eindrucksvollen Dampflokomotiven bis 1967 ausgemustert. Die 19 017 blieb uns im BW Dresden Altstadt als gepflegte Museumslok erhalten.<\/p>\n

Das Modell zeigt den Zustand der Deutschen Reichsbahn Gesellschaft und sp\u00e4ter der Reichsbahn der DDR, motorisieren kann man sie mit zwei L-Motoren, Fahrbar ist sie ab Radius R72, ein Rauchgenerator kann ebenfalls verbaut werden.
