A total of eight vehicle halves of this series were procured for the Wehrmacht in 1939 by the F. Krupp\/Siemens-Schuckert (SSW) consortium.<\/p>\n<p>Although they were the property of the Wehrmacht, this was not noted directly on the locomotives, rather the marking applied there was Deutsche Reichsbahn, one line below Essen, followed by Fried. Krupp A.G.
