In the latter case, you can find the storage period in the overview of the cookie settings of your web browser.
If individual cookies used by us also process personal data, the processing is carried out either in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR if you have given your consent, or in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit.

If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. 7.2 Use of Payment Service Providers (Payment Services)
- Google Pay
If you choose the payment method “Google Pay” of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”), the payment is processed via the payment method stored in your Google account.
To authorize a payment via Google Pay on a desktop computer, you must first log in to your Google account; to authorize it on a mobile device, you must complete the corresponding verification procedure (for example by facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provided during the ordering process, together with the information about your order, is passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the originating website in the form of a one-time transaction number, with which a completed payment is verified. This transaction number does not contain any information about the actual payment data of your payment methods stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a numerical token that is valid only once. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts merely as an intermediary for the handling of the payment process. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the originating website by debiting the payment method stored in Google Pay.
If personal data is processed in the course of the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Google reserves the right to collect, store and analyze certain transaction-specific information for every transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, the merchant's location and description, a description of the goods or services purchased provided by the merchant, photos you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or of the sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.
According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, the verification of transaction data and the optimization and functional maintenance of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with further information that is collected and stored by Google when other Google services are used.
The terms of use of Google Pay can be found here:

One or more online payment methods of the following provider are available on this website: Klarna Bank AB, Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden
If you select a payment method of the provider for which you pay in advance (for example credit card payment), your payment data provided during the ordering process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be passed on to the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In this case, your data is passed on exclusively for the purpose of processing the payment with the provider and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
If you select a payment method for which the provider pays in advance (for example purchase on account, installment purchase or direct debit), you will also be asked during the ordering process to provide certain personal data (first and last name, street, house number, postal code, city, date of birth, email address, telephone number and, if applicable, data on an alternative payment method).
In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining the solvency of our customers, we forward this data to the provider for the purpose of a credit check in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. On the basis of the personal data you have provided and further data (such as shopping cart, invoice amount, order history, payment experience), the provider checks whether the payment option you have selected can be granted with regard to payment default and/or bad debt risks.
In addition to the provider's internal criteria, identity and credit information from the following credit agencies may also be taken into account in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR when deciding on the application:
https://cdn.klarna.com
The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. The calculation of the score values includes, among other things but not exclusively, address data.
You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may remain entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.
- Paypal Checkout
This website uses PayPal Checkout, an online payment system from PayPal that consists of PayPal's own payment methods and local payment methods of third-party providers.
If you pay via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or, if offered, “Pay Later” via PayPal, we pass on your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter “PayPal”) as part of the payment processing. The data is passed on in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and only to the extent necessary for payment processing.
For the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or, if offered, “Pay Later” via PayPal, PayPal reserves the right to carry out a credit check. For this purpose, your payment data may be passed on to credit agencies in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of PayPal's legitimate interest in determining your solvency. PayPal uses the result of the credit check with regard to the statistical probability of payment default for the purpose of deciding whether to provide the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. The calculation of the score values includes, among other things but not exclusively, address data. You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to PayPal. However, PayPal may remain entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.
If the PayPal payment method “Pay upon Invoice” is available and selected, your payment data is first transmitted to PayPal to prepare the payment, whereupon PayPal forwards it to Ratepay GmbH, Franklinstraße 28-29, 10587 Berlin (“Ratepay”) to carry out the payment. The legal basis in each case is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In this case, RatePay carries out an identity and credit check in its own name to determine solvency in accordance with the principle already mentioned above and passes on your payment data to credit agencies on the basis of the legitimate interest in determining solvency in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A list of the credit agencies that Ratepay may use can be found here: https://www.ratepay.com
If you use the payment method of a local third-party provider, your payment data is first passed on to PayPal in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to prepare the payment. Depending on your selection of an available local payment method, PayPal then transmits your payment data to the corresponding provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to carry out the payment:

8) Web Analytics Services
8.1 Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”), which enables an analysis of your use of our website.
By default, when you visit the website, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies, which are stored on your device as small text modules and collect certain information. The scope of this information also includes your IP address, which, however, is shortened by Google by the last digits in order to rule out direct personal identifiability.
The information is transmitted to Google servers and further processed there. Transfers to Google LLC, based in the USA, are also possible.
On our behalf, Google uses the information collected to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide further services related to website use and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser and shortened in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The data collected in the context of the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit to the site. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right to withdraw consent, please deactivate this service via the “Cookie Consent Tool” provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google
Demographic Characteristics
If the special function “demographic characteristics” is activated within Google Analytics 4, it can be used to generate statistics that provide information about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This is done by analyzing advertising and information from third-party providers. This allows target groups for marketing activities to be identified. However, the data collected cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after being stored for a period of two months.
Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals may be used on this website to have cross-device reports created. If you have activated personalized ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google can, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including on cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you want to stop the cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the “Personalized advertising” function in the settings of your Google account. To do so, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com
Further information on Google Signals can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com
UserIDs
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the “UserIDs” function may be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, have set up an account on this website and log in to this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analyzed across devices.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
8.2 Google Tag Manager
This website uses “Google Tag Manager,” a service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: “Google”).
Google Tag Manager provides a technical basis for bundling various web applications, including tracking and analytics services, and for calibrating and controlling them and making them subject to conditions via a uniform user interface. Google Tag Manager itself does not store any information on user devices or read any information from them. Nor does the service carry out any independent data analyses. However, when a page is accessed, Google Tag Manager transmits your IP address to Google, where it may be stored. A transfer to servers of Google LLC in the USA is also possible.
This processing is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google Tag Manager will not be used during your visit to the site. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To withdraw your consent, please deactivate this service in the “Cookie Consent Tool” provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Further legal information on Google Tag Manager can be found at https://business.safety.google
8.3 Jetpack
This website uses the web analytics service of the following provider: Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110-4929, USA
Using cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymized visitor data, including information about the device used such as the IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate it for statistical analyses of usage behavior on our website and to create pseudonymized usage profiles. Among other things, this makes it possible to evaluate movement patterns (so-called heatmaps), which show the duration of page visits and interactions with page content (e.g., text entries, scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs). Pseudonymization generally rules out direct personal identifiability. The data is not combined with directly identifying data about you collected by other means.
All processing described above, in particular the reading or storing of information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the “Cookie Consent Tool” provided on the website.
9) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking
9.1 Meta Pixel
Within our online offering, we use the “Meta Pixel” service of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (“Meta”)
If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook and/or Instagram, “Meta Pixel” adds a parameter to the URL of our linked page. After the redirect, this URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser by a cookie that our linked page sets itself.
On the one hand, this enables Meta to determine the visitors of our online offering as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called “ads”). Accordingly, we use the service to display the Facebook and/or Instagram ads placed by us only to those users who have also shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products, determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Meta (so-called “Custom Audiences”).
On the other hand, “Meta Pixel” can be used to track whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement and which actions they perform there (so-called “conversion tracking”).
In addition to “Meta Pixel,” which transmits data to Meta via your browser, the “Meta Conversions API” may be used. If it is used, information about certain actions on our website (so-called “events,” e.g., page views, adding products to the shopping cart, initiating the ordering process or completing an order) is transmitted via an interface not through your browser, but directly from our server to Meta's servers. This serves to make the measurement of the success of our advertisements more reliable, for example if the browser-side transmission does not take place or is incomplete due to technical restrictions. In the context of the “Meta Conversions API,” the following data in particular may be transmitted to Meta: type and time of the event, URL accessed, information on ordered products and their value, your IP address, information on your browser and device (user agent) and the identifiers stored in the Meta cookies. In order to avoid duplicate recording of the same information by “Meta Pixel” and “Meta Conversions API” in these cases, each event is assigned an identifier which Meta uses to merge the transmissions.
The data collected is anonymous for us, i.e., it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the “Cookie Consent Tool” provided on the website.
We and Meta are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR) for the collection of data via “Meta Pixel” and its transmission to Meta. For this purpose, we have concluded an agreement on joint controllership with Meta, the content of which you can access at https://www.facebook.com
For the evaluation of the data, its assignment to predefined events and the creation of measurement and analysis reports, however, Meta acts as our processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and, under the data processing agreement at https://facebook.com
The information generated by Meta is generally transmitted to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, a transfer to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may also occur.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
9.2 Google Ads Remarketing
This website uses retargeting technology of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland
For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in the browser of your device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. The information collected in this process generally also includes your IP address.
Any data processing beyond this only takes place if you have agreed with Google that your web and app browsing history will be linked by Google to your Google account and that information from your Google account will be used to personalize ads that you view on the web. If, in this case, you are logged in to Google during your visit to our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data in order to form target groups. In the context of the use of Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to the site.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To withdraw your consent, please deactivate this service in the “Cookie Consent Tool” provided on the website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Details on the processing initiated by Google and on Google's handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com
Further information on Google's privacy policy can be found here: https://business.safety.google
10) Site Functionalities
- Google reCAPTCHA
On this website, we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland
Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA.
For the visual design of the captcha window, the provider uses “Google Fonts,” i.e., fonts loaded by Google from the internet. This does not result in the processing of any information other than that mentioned above, which is already transmitted to Google via the functionality of ReCaptcha.
The service checks whether an entry is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks and similar automated malicious access. To ensure that an action is performed by a human and not by an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the device used, identification data of the type of browser and operating system used, as well as the date and duration of the visit, and transmits this data to the provider's servers for evaluation. Cookies may be used in this process, i.e., small text files that are stored in the browser of the device.
Insofar as the processing described above is based on cookies, these are only set if you have given us your express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the “Cookie Consent Tool” provided on the website.
If the processing described above is carried out without the use of cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in establishing individual self-responsibility on the internet and in avoiding misuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
11) Tools and Miscellaneous
Cookie Consent Tool
To obtain valid user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent, this website uses a so-called “Cookie Consent Tool.” When a page is accessed, the “Cookie Consent Tool” is displayed to users in the form of an interactive user interface on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by checking boxes. Through the use of the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives the corresponding consent by checking the boxes. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's respective device if consent has been given.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. As a rule, no personal user data is processed in this context.
If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is nevertheless processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.
A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of cookies that are not technically necessary dependent on the respective user's consent.
Where necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
Further information on the operator and the setting options of the Cookie Consent Tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.
12) Rights of the Data Subject
12.1 Applicable data protection law grants you the following data subject rights (rights of access and intervention) with respect to the controller regarding the processing of your personal data; for the respective conditions for exercising these rights, reference is made to the legal basis cited:

- Right to rectification in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;
- Right to erasure in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR;

- Right to lodge a complaint in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
12.2 RIGHT TO OBJECT
IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA IN THE CONTEXT OF A BALANCING OF INTERESTS ON THE BASIS OF OUR OVERRIDING LEGITIMATE INTEREST, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.
IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO FURTHER PROCESSING IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY US FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING. YOU CAN EXERCISE THE OBJECTION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.
13) Duration of Storage of Personal Data
The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and, if relevant, additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g., retention periods under commercial and tax law).
When personal data is processed on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the data concerned is stored until you withdraw your consent.
If there are statutory retention periods for data processed in the context of contractual or quasi-contractual obligations on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided that it is no longer required for the performance or initiation of the contract and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in its further storage.
When personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object under Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
When personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object under Art. 21(2) GDPR.
Unless the other information in this policy regarding specific processing situations provides otherwise, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
