The class 130 diesel locomotives were imported into the GDR from the then Soviet Union from 1970 onwards and put into service with the Deutsche Reichsbahn for passenger and freight transport. The locomotives were equipped with a diesel-electric power transmission that had been less common on German railways until then. The prototype was presented at the Leipzig Fair as the V 300 001, but it did not enter service with this number. The prototype belongs to Wedler Franz Logistik GmbH.
The model can be equipped with one or two powered up drives or one or two 9V motors.
The minimum radius is R40.
