The Dresden tramway procured these four-axle streetcar cars from various manufacturers between 1929 and 1933. Because of their distinctive shape with the pointed ends, they were given the nickname Hechtwagen. The advantage was that the ends of the cars did not protrude too far beyond the track profile in curves. This made it possible to increase the vehicle length and thus the passenger capacity.
In 1955, the reduced stock due to war damage was supplemented by two replica vehicles. This type of car was used exclusively in Dresden.
Today, two large Hech wagons are still preserved as museum vehicles in Dresden, one of which is operational.
The model has an interior for figures. At the driver's desk, the torso without legs can be attached as a driver figure. The car has simple but functional couplers. The bogies are suitable for R40 curves and track passages.

Hallo,
eigentlich bin ich eher ein Fan historischer Dampflokomotiven. Als ich aber dieses Modell hier gesehen habe, konnte ich nicht anders als mir die Bauanleitung zu kaufen, auch weil ich mein Leben lang Dresdener bin und in meiner Jugend selbst noch mit diesem Fahrzeug unterwegs war.
Ich finde der Designer hat die Grundform sehr gut getroffen und ich bin immer wieder begeistert, wie es manche Leute schaffen, aus vorwiegend eckigen Baumaterial komplizierte stimmige Formen zu erschaffen.(Kompliment!)
Die Bauanleitung enthielt keine Fehler und ließ auch keine Fragen offen. An die Reihenfolge der Bauschritte sollte man sich in manchen Abschnitten nicht unbedingt halten, andernfalls macht man sich das Leben schwer.
Die Blinker erschienen mir etwas klobig, deshalb habe ich eine Seite original gebaut und diese auf der anderen Seite weggelassen. Ich finde beides ist OK.
In diesem Falle würde ich mir noch den passenden Beiwagen wünschen, denn diese Bahn fuhr selten solo. Vielleicht hat der Designer schon was in Planung.
