The class 10 is the last steam locomotive built for the German Federal Railroad, it should serve as a replacement for the classes 01, 03, 18.5 and 39. However, when they were delivered in 1957/58, there was no longer a need for them and so only 2 machines were built. The 140 km/h locomotives were used in the same rotations as the 01.10 from Kassel. Both locomotives were taken out of service after only 10 years, after both suffered damage. The 10 001 remained in the German Steam Locomotive Museum, the 10 002 was scrapped in 1972.

The model is drivable from the radius R72. The model can be motorized with two L-motors, one place each is provided in the tender and in the locomotive.

In addition, a steam module can be installed, which you can purchase here: www.joooooy.com
