The class E 50 is a standard electric locomotive for heavy freight traffic that was first built for the Deutsche Bundesbahn in 1957. From 1968 onwards, it was known as the class 150. The last locomotives were taken out of service by the Deutsche Bahn in 2003, and the end-of-life depot for the vehicles was Kornwestheim.
The locomotive represents the blue-beige version with slatted fan grilles and angular engine room windows.
It can be equipped with one or two Powerd Up drives or with one or two 9Volt drives.
