My name is Andi also known as Hammel&Leppla and I am one of the designers of the products you can buy here in the shop.
Ever since I was a child, the theme of trains has been present in my life, which is why I couldn't do without a Lego train.
When I finally visited a railway museum in the summer of 2019, I became interested in steam locomotives and the idea of a realistic model made of Lego was sparked. Unfortunately, you can buy such a model for years only for exorbitant sums on various internet platforms.
So I have been designing models in my spare time since spring 2020.
When the new online shop was announced, I joined the group.
I am mainly responsible for steam locomotives in all widths with the focus on the best possible appearance and driveability.
