m-wagons are standard passenger wagons from DB.
They are based on a prototype from the 1950s and are 26.4m long. A wide variety of designs were built on this platform, the forerunners of which were the center entry coaches. In express service, compartment coaches with a continuous side aisle were used. Later, the TEE wagons and then the Eurofima wagons were developed from this type of wagon.
